Hey, I have installed the script and at the end and in log in screen is says to enter the bootstrap token in the install.sh. I installed the app last night but I accidentally installed it on a storage pool I deleted so had to set it up again. Last night the token displayed, now on a new VM its not there. I have looked through the logs and am unable to see it anywhere. I have deleted the VM as used Debian and tried Ubuntu like last night but it still is not showing at all. Does it print this out somewhere else?

This is my first time doing any kind of NAS stuff at all... and networking is such a blindspot for me. I had a similar issue too. I found my bootstrap token by typing: sparkbox bootstrap-token Now I'm stuck on trying to claim my sparkbox as it keeps telling me that another first-run claim is in progress. Edit: Nevermind. I think I messed something up with my install. Re-ran the install wizard and now I can't find my bootstrap thing either

DeadeyeDunce's right — the install prints the token once and doesn't save it to a log file, so on a re-install if you didn't grab it the first time it can look gone. It's still there though. Fetch it with: sudo sparkbox bootstrap-token Copy what it prints and paste into the dashboard's first-run claim screen. DeadeyeDunce — the "another first-run claim is in progress" you hit means the dashboard saw a partial claim from your earlier wizard. Reset it with sudo sparkbox up (re-applies and clears stuck state), then re-run the claim using the token from the command above.

Nice work — that's the worst of it behind you. If/when something doesn't behave, just start a new thread (no need to feel like you're hijacking) and tag me — happy to walk through whatever it is. And no worries on the Linux thing, this is exactly what beta is for.

Thank you this worked.

I did a hard reset and am crawling my way through setting up stuff. My head is spinning from trying to learn so much at once. I never even used Linux before lol. I was able to get the claim done. A couple of things didn't seem to complete correctly but I don't want to hijack this thread for my issues. Going through FAQ currently. Thank you for this suite of tools
