Trouble changing media folder to mounted secondary storage drive
Posted by RyuikuX
the docker inspect -f '{{json .Mounts}}' sb-radarr output showing /mnt/storage/sparkbox-media → /data [{"Type":"bind","Source":"/mnt/storage/sparkbox-media","Destination":"/data","Mode":"rw","RW":true,"Propagation":"rprivate"},{"Type":"bind","Source":"/opt/sparkbox/modules/media/config/radarr","Destination":"/config","Mode":"rw","RW":true,"Propagation":"rprivate"}] root folders are empty in both Radarr and Sonarr's Media Management even after fixmediapermissions ran and reported healthy i also had to manually change the media folder under advanced settings, the AI was having trouble doing it for me.

Thanks for the detailed output. I can see the Docker mount is configured correctly, but the root folders aren't showing up — this is a known issue we're tracking. We've flagged it for investigation and you're not alone experiencing this. As a workaround, try restarting the arr containers manually via the dashboard, then manually re-add root folders. If that doesn't work, I'll get you on a call with our team to dig deeper.

I think i worked my way through this yesterday, and re-reading this post i have no clue what i was on about. If part of this is on your radar, that sounds great. honestly amazed you replied too, im loving your work.

Glad you got there in the end — and honestly, 'solved it but can't remember how' is half of homelabbing. The root folder thing is still on our radar regardless, so if it ever comes back after a rebuild, just shout. Thanks for the kind words, genuinely made my day.
